Private advertiser tells me it's impossible to ad tracking pixel, what do I do?

So I've got this private advertiser I've been doing a lot of SEO with. He has a bunch of other SEO affiliates and he gives them an iframe form to put on their site.

It seems they only have a single form URL they give to all their affiliates, and they track their affiliate IDs with a single query string in this way url.com/?id=xxxxxxx

I want to start advertising their offer on facebook but I need to track obviously. I'm in touch with their affiliate manager, not their tech guy, he tells me it's not possible to put my tracking pixel in there.

So I'm wondering, is he mistaken, is it truly not possible? Also, what are my options here? I have years of experience with that offer so I really want to run it.

I might be able to get him to make some changes to his offer, but maybe not, I'm only about 5% of his revenue. How big of a deal is adding my pixel tracking to his offer? Is it something I could convince him of? I don't fully understand how the pixel tracking work, if it adds loading time or vulnerability to his offer or something like that that would make him not want to put it there. How much time would it even take their IT guy to do it?

He also talked about possibly being able to give me more "stats". Not sure what he means by that, hopefully it's something like sub id in the url but I'm doubtful, seems like that would be harder to implement than the tracking pixel.
