Ofc, it depends on the size of the target audience. But imagine I have a size of 4 million, it should be reasonably stable right?
Does this hold for:
- oCPM
- oCPC
- Post engagement?
Curious what your experiences are.
Cheers
Too many factors, oCPM optimises for conversion, oCPC for CPC.
oCPC by definition should get cheaper over time.
Post engagement gets cheaper if you're promoting posts that can get engagements, e.g. Cute puppies.
For me costs are a bit bumpy in the beginning of campaign and as I'm scaling it, but usually it settles and only starts increasing over time (even with big audience)
Depends on the traffic source and the demand (i.e. amount of people) bidding for the same placements you're going for.
All things being equal, no.
fb is an auction system.
There are actions you can take that can help bring your costs down.
Optimisation, better targeting, fewer complaints on your ads are all drivers of potentially lower costs.
The simple passage of time however is not one of these drivers.
In my experience, when I increase the budget, the cpc will increase and then keep stable with some variation. Then it depends on type of ads, for how many time you can keep that cost.
At 10$ daily when you start it will take 1-3 days to optimize correctly and show a natural cost.
