Re: Critique landing page for PPC

Please would you critique my landing page. This is for an email submit offer that I am promoting with 7search.com. The affiliate manager said that 7search do high volume and it's good for email submits. So I'm testing this landing page (http://samsung.affgenerator.com/).

Some quick stats on this it's had 8 clicks so far 0 conversions as of yet. What could be improved to get my ROI 100%? Geo-redirection is in full force so if you're not in the Uk you won't see the appropiate landing page.

Thanks

First of all 8 clicks will not tell you whether the lander is a winner or a flop.

What kinds of keywords are you bidding on? With sweeps you can target really broad. The lander is weak as far as I can tell. Pointing out benefits/features of the phone may work when a person's comparison shopping trying to decide between 2 phones for example. For sweeps I doubt this will be effective. I would highly suggest that you do some spying - either by going to torrent sites to trigger pops, or setting up a TARGET campaign on zeropark to get a list of urls to manually browse to to see ads. Alternatively, subscribe to a spying tool like Adplexity or AdsXposed to see some sweeps landers. Rip and mod to establish a benchmark, then apply your own angles and creativity to beat your control. Running a new offer using a new lander on a new traffic source creates a catch 22 (or a catch 33 in this case lol) where if you don't get conversions you won't know which one is the culprit. At least by using ripped landers to establish a benchmark you'd eliminate one of the unknowns. Hope that helps!

The first question you should ask yourself is why I am sending people to this lander? Is it to impress them about the phone or is its only function to get the Click Thru? When I first started in IM I created sites that looked great, offered all kinds of content but I forgot what I was really after, which was a conversion. Focus on that. There are some great books on this subject. I recommend this book (BTW I have used an Aff Link to Amazon) by Dr. Robert Cialdini. Our job as marketers is not to justify why they should press the button, that is there job. Our job is to tweek other physiological drivers.

Definitely do some spying to get some ideas because the text on your page is terrible. I would not run this ad as is. You're not telling benefits (not the right ones and not well), you're not creating scarcity, or trustworthiness/credibility.
