Voluum Missing Conversions
Guys,
I just noticed that for last 2 days my Voluum is showing wrong numbers. I have 10% to 20% (depending on campaign) discrepancies between reported leads and real leads. I know that it is not the network issue because if I go to "Conversions" tab(in Voluum) I see all leads. For example "Conversions" tab is showing 200 leads while if I break campaign based on anything else I only see 180. This messes up data badly. Does anyone else see similar issues?

i just had the same problem since a few days, and asked Voluum's support. This is what they answered:
It's worth to take into account that within the offer or campaign reporting context it will show conversions only with a visit timestamp for the specified time period selected on the time filter. The conversions report tab will show conversions that are still being received from previous days irregardless of their visit timestamp when the postback has been received for the selected time frame. To elaborate more; in
Voluum every visit click and conversion is recorded and then reported in visit time. It's worth to keep in mind that Voluum counts conversions on the date of the click, affiliate networks count them on the day of the conversion.
Consider this example:
A user enters your lander at 11.55 p.m after 10 minutes he clicks at offer and finally converts, but conversion postback comes in 2 days to Voluum. Every event on that scenario came to Voluum on different time, but each of them was stored in our database with Visit time. Being more precise, click and conversion counter will bump up report for the first day, but on reports for the following days they won't be counted. When the postback is received the conversion will be registered accurately for the initial visit. These discrepancies are especially apparent when you promote app install offers where the conversion occurs when someone actually opens the app. This action may happen days even weeks after the click. Essentially if you look at your all-time stats for a particular offer, you'll see the exact same amount of conversions on your network and on Voluum.
That makes perfect sense for me.

Hi gunnar,
Thanks for the response. That make sense. Even thought I am still confused why after 24 hours lead count in Voluum matches the network (when previously it didn't). I sent support an email will keep it posted if others encounter this too

I have this problem and another problem. For example 100 conversions showing on Voluum, and after 2 hours shows only 77

Just to update I received exactly same response as gunnar. I checked this in my Conversions tab and for most cases this shows correct. Timestamp of visit and conversion is during different days
pronewbie not sure for your case. You should send them an email they are pretty responsive
