PPV mastermind: Leaving the Nest of Intermediate..ness

The goal of this 4-5 person mastermind is to collaborate on increasingly-larger desktop PPV campaigns, and share notes to speed the optimization curve. The eventual goal is running a $X,XXX/day RON campaign together.

About Me
I've mostly run piles of small to lower-mid-size ppv campaigns over the years. I've had a few "large" campaigns, which were really just a massive bundle of related smaller campaigns. As you'd imagine, I'm good at spotting opportunities, and systematizing as much as possible so I don't lose my a** with all those campaigns and data floating around.

My goal is to remove some of the hamster-wheel-feel and grow into more complex and larger-scale campaigns. I know a little about a lot - been around the industry for a long time in various roles. I'd consider myself intermediate with PPV though, since I haven't tackled more complicated funnels or wider-net type of campaigns on pop.

Who is a fit for the PPV mastermind?

  1. PPV is your bread and butter - maybe you too have buckets of smallish campaigns, and wanted to spend more time really advertising versus just spotting holes
  2. you've spent $XX,XXX in PPV and can demonstrate it with proof if needed (e.g. tiebreaker)
  3. PPV may not be your primary focus, but you're great with another traffic source and at least know the ropes with PPV - you've always wanted to put more time into your PPV though & think this would help. You've still spent the # above or close to it over the years.
  4. Maybe you're even "advanced" but could use some accountability and want to pick up a few new ideas from a fresh set of eyes
  5. Your time zone or work schedule could fit a regular weekly group call w/ a handsome guy who lives US Eastern time zone and likes early morning or mid-evening calls
  6. You're not looking to run adult or any campaign we'd need to cloak
  7. We won't jump right into the monster campaigns, but have some test budget available. If you meet the criteria above, likely not an issue
  8. You have your setup ready - tracker, hosting for landers, accounts at traffic sources (e.g. so you're not scrambling for a TV referral if they still do that)
  9. Preference to full-time affiliates, but if you work in the industry out of your house or otherwise write your own schedule, that is fine.
  10. Be prepared to participate - we'll likely have a pretty short leash for going dark on the group unless your last name rhymes with dough, mean, glassy, etc.

How the group will likely run
We'll pick out a warmup campaign to get to know each other and work out the kinks. Collaborate on some angles/flows/offers/target lists, split up the testing criteria, and then share results in some gdocs/dropbox/etc combo. If all goes well, we pick a bigger one, then a bigger one. Eventually I'd like to see us run a RON-type of PPV campaign and get the most leverage from our time basking in the warm glow of our monitors.

PM me with:
  1. your skype username
  2. how you meet the criteria above
  3. why you want to join the group
  4. timezone, potential timeslots for making a group call, and your general workday schedule
  5. What are you really good at? Really not good at?
  6. Are you going to ASW and/or leadscon west early 2016? I'll be at both - not crucial, but a group meetup would be cool if we're still all on this by then

Then start sifting through your swipe files and scrapers to start building a better mousetrap, bc we're doing this

Looking forward to getting this going. Even after the group is closed, feel free to send info if you meet the criteria above. If you've been in many masterminds, you know some people flake. If they do, we'll leave the light on for you.

(If you don't meet the criteria, no offense, but please don't send info for consideration. Fortunately there look to be quite a few mastermind groups for newer guys)
