It looks like your going through my course...
A few things...
- those images were in my skincare swipe file yes, but they are banner ads. Facebook ads cant have more than 20% text if you read their advertising terms. You can use images based on those ads though, just search google for 'forehead wrinkles' or something.
- your tracking link says 'juliesweightloss' on it. Put your self in the prospects shoes, that seems a bit off, if theyre buying a skincare product. You want to make people think theyre buying from a skincare website.
- I recommend people use long copy (500-1000 words) and video for facebook. You dont have this for any of your ads. I suggest you do so.
I understand that you checked out my skincare ads, and thought 'oh, let me just copy him!', but please note that facebook changes constantly. They dont like short copy anymore. They dont like sensationalistic imagery anymore.
Using short copy, and sensationalistic images is a fast way to get your account banned.
I recommend you write your own copy, make it LONG, and test out VIDEOS.
Its better than getting your account banned.
I hope that all makes sense?
Your obviously very new, but awesome job on taking action, and starting a follow-along documenting your campaign! Thats the best way to fail forward, learn, and get good feedback along the way!
That angle has been done by A LOT of people, and FB doesn't like the words "trick" and "Exposed" in this context, so that could put the ads/account in some jeopardy. Plus your ads aren't really congruent... "user submitted recipe" but goes to Company page? "removes wrinkles" when the offer promotes dark spot removal? Huge disconnect there.
You should definitely aim for higher ad CTRS, look like you had a 2.13% as your highest.. and you can definitely get it up to at least 5-6% with Skin.
I'd get a bit more specific with this offer and the selling points/main benefits. the very first few minutes it talks about sun damage and dark spots that are hiding underneath that you can't see yet... summer just ended, combine the two and test that angle...
Hollywood doctor, weird ingredients they use, etc.. watch the video again and pull out some of the key selling points in the first few minutes and brainstorm from there. You can 100% do a lot better then these.
Also, $50 payout is about 20-30% less then what you can get for this offer.
Hey John,
when you talk about video ads, do you mean selfmade videos on the topic where me or a random person is talking about the product or just videos concerning skin care as a general topic?
Thanks
I'm John stepped in and dropped a line about FB ads...you were on a quick path to get your account banned.
i dont know if you still running this... How did it go?
