Which type of clicks influence your relevance score?

Hi,

Ok, it seems that there are different types of clicks on your add:

Do all of them influence the relevance score? Or only the website clicks? ( all clicks exclusive the button clicks etc.)

Thanks

p.s. maybe just remove the button in that case?!

Facebook themselves have some helpful information:

@ Gary, yeah found that one. However, still it does not answer my question.

Does anybody know this?

The short answer is that all clicks matter.

Long Answer:

I'm sure it's more complicated that this but it's basically a balancing act between overall engagement (website clicks, likes, comments, shares, any type of interaction) and negative feedback. Facebook may value one type of engagement over the other depending on the type of ad you're running and your optimization goals but they'll never share that info with anyone.

The relevance score in your screenshot is basically the lowest I've ever seen. From my experience, a relevance score below 7 makes an ad fizzle out very quickly unless you're willing to pay through the nose.

Also, I seem to remember my rep telling me that a score of 5 is the average (or mean?) of facebook ads overall. So a relevance score of 5 will get you average amounts of traffic at average prices. Below 5 you'll pay higher prices and receive less traffic. Above 5 you'll pay lower prices and receive more traffic. A score of 9 or 10 should basically mean you can open the floodgates as long as it backs out.

The more engaged the people are, the more relevant it will be = the higher the relevancy score.

So target wisely.

Ok, yes ofc i get this :-).

Still however, I am wondering wether an add performs worse or better with or without a cta button, in relation to relevance score.

But ey, something to test out i guess :P
