Hi all, I just joined recently and have been soaking in all the information. I've been at this game for awhile but there's always more to learn :-)
I'm actually pretty new to Facebook ads though and this is where i'm going to start with a campaign based on what i'm learning here. My question is based on creating a facebook ads funnel... or in other words a 2 step ad process. Has anyone done this (i haven't found anything searching the forum) and if so do you have any info to share?
My initial plan was to create a 'like' campaign not for the 'likes' to the page but more to be the 1st step in the ad funnel. If someone is exposed to my page's brand and decides to 'like' the page then that is step 1 in my ad funnel. Step 2 could be a retargeting campaign (with a cap on frequency to avoid negative ratings on my ads) to only those that like my page and get them to a landing page followed with a CPA offer on the thank you page.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Obviously the math has to work in terms of the cost per like + cost per retarget to lander < CPA payout + secondary monetization methods. Can any of the more experienced STM'ers weigh in on this? Anyone had success doing this or on the flip side anyone know this does not work?
thanks in advance and thanks for the great community.
This is a very common setup. Just make sure you are setting up the Facebook pixel and your tracking properly and take advantage of both custom and lookalike audiences.
