I've been holding a lot of this in, but we've got some amazing speaking engagements happening at AWA this year. You wanted Facebook? So did we. We got the best from the Facebook offices to come and talk about targeting on their advertising platform

Ryan Holiday
If you don't know Ryan, read our link below! This guy is the master of "angles" with all types of marketing.
- Ryan is a media strategist and advisor for bestselling authors Tim Ferriss, Tucker Max and Robert Greene. His work has been used as case studies by Twitter, YouTube and Google and has been written about in AdAge, the New York Times, Gawker and Fast Company. And at the age of 21, Ryan became the Director of Marketing at American Apparel.

- Will be speaking on how direct marketers can effectively use Adwords, Admob, and Youtube to increase their reach.
- General search has fallen off the map for a lot of us performance marketers but many are making hundreds of thousands a month by creating brands and selling products we typically view as offers. This speech should bring a lot of insight into this area.

Facebook

I was just at Facebook HQ yesterday. Some of the stats they were presenting on mobile usage on FB and Instagram were just INSANE.

I don't have privy to this kind of information, but I'm probably going to guess that Google/Facebook's presentation at this conference is NOT going to be titled "How to successfully combat the learning algorithm we wrote to prevent short-term marketers from defrauding us with account farming and cloaking"

Just bought the book and so far its incredibly interesting, pretty high level stuff so not for most people but some fascinating insights to historical characters who have wielded power in many ways.
