filter sites that send shit traffic - no other way. Exoclick implemented IP range targeting before about 2-3 days but it is only for whitelisting.
I am not sure if exoclick have bot traffic detection mechanism or they send everything that websites send to them. So in this case webmasters could be bad guys and try to generate some fake clicks or banner impressions (whcih is normal if advertisement network doesn't case much about fake actions)

Thanks for your reply!
but if I find the IP that sends a lot of bad traffic, in Exo you can blacklist it by putting a minus sign in front of it right?

I have >100% CTR on my lander on some sites with 0 conversion, so there is definitely some fishy going on. I just end up blocking those sites. However these sites are not US.

bro that's obviously click fraud right?
Have you contacted exoclick about this?
I contacted exoclick regarding the matter and this was their reply:
Thank you for your reply regarding the traffic you have been recieving.
We have investigated further and have found no issues with the traffic you have been receiving. From the information you have provided and through looking at your stats most of the impressions have come from our premium publishers where there are no issues.
When running a campaign on a CPC price model, you are not able to cap the number of unique users that can view/click on his ad within a specific time. Maybe you would like to change your pricing model to CPM which would give you the option to cap the number of clicks a unique user can make to limit the impressions.
We have investigated thoroughly and can not see anything to be concerned about with your stats, however I would recommend with your next campaign selecting CPM pricing model to give you more control with frequency capping.
If you have any further inquiries, please don´t hesitate to contact us 24/7.
Kind regards,
Sally

I have not done large volumes with them yet but they seem not to care at all. I also had like 40k impressions on a site that showed blank banners and obviously 0% CTR and they did not even mention to compensate it even though I was asking. Sure, it's not a large amount but you would expect them to treat their customers fair.

Yes they do have bot traffic... and when you run RON campaigns they will not refund you for it. Also funny how they try to convince you to change campaign from CPC to CPM (i.e. even less control over bot traffic).

Yeah, I think this is the likely explanation.
Exoclick is the biggest adult network out there.
A RON campaign, on the world's largest adult traffic source, can feel a bit like pissing in the wind.
It would be nice if their technology stamped out bot traffic, but that's not the reality.
So you have to find other ways around the system.
Like whitelisting, or swallowing the initial losses, or working out filtering rules that correlate to the bad traffic.
(Drilldown reporting is your best friend there.)
