Hey all,
I keep getting denied in "newbie" friendly affiliate networks. The last 3 I have applied for I have been denied. I am trying to get into mobile offers and join networks that have lots of mobile offers. I always answer all questions thoroughly and have read the in-depth guides to getting accepted in this forum, but still no luck.
Do I just keep applying to all the other networks out there?
Thanks!
I should mention I am trying to do the Appetizer tutorials.
Work on your image. something is wrong when you get denied 3 times. Ask for feedback why you were denied, then fix it.
As well, there are countless AMs here on the forum. Might want sent an PM or two.
If you'd like, I could put you in touch with some of my awesome AMs. PM me if you're interested.
Amy
Are you using @gmail.com or @hotmail.com emails - spend $10, buy a domain, host a one page agency site. Create an email from that agency site.
Problem solved.
SuperCoolDude491@gmail ain't getting accepted anywhere
Also are you picking up the phone and calling? This is my first step whenever I apply to networks.
Thanks. I have been using a custom domain for these things but I don't have a company/agency page. I'll get one up. Thanks.
The best is to get in touch with an AM before you apply, they can push your application through. Its also very good to be as specific as you can in the application form and provide detailed info.
If you apply to our network, I'll make sure you get approved within 24H!
mention you are a member of STM too mate. It helps generally
I was actually going to ask this same question before applying anywhere. Thanks for the information regarding how I present myself, that's exactly what I was looking for.
When you say set up an agency site after buying a domain name, is that acceptable for the field that says "website" (in some application forms). I was concerned that I would need a set of credentials or past marketing data to show when applying.
Time to go look for a domain name for myself.
Dont settle when they say no... depends on what the reason is offcourse but i convinced them by being honest that i am a newbie and tell them how bad i want it... approved by the first 5 i got signed on... But i also got a personal email adres plus website etc.
Hi guys,
As cbrughmans said a while back, and spartanen just mentioned, best to contact your AM directly and see why you might not have been approved.
You learn from this too. Sometimes it may just be that you havent given all the details they requiere. Actually I find partners sometimes don´t want to give details because they have had bad experiences with other signup process. Im not sure how others processes work, however, the more honest partners are the better we can help them... Because we understand their needs and situation.
What I can add is that, Kimia is newbie-friendly, if you want to try us out. Simple signup process, just to understand your traffic needs and 24 hrs approval (unless we are on a long weekend bank holiday, of course xD), we will support you not only through the first steps but through the optimization process too. Premium AM service.
I would create a blog/lander/presell/website or something around the vertical you're going to be promoting.
Lots of people signup for networks then dont do anything.... its also sortof a fraud risk I hear.
Showing that you are looking for offers in a specific verticals, are ready to launch traffic quickly, shows that your not messing around and just looking to 'peruse'.
Since this is an exponential marketplace, the industry is dominated by a very small group of action takers. Make sure when you apply that you are very focused in your intentions in terms of what your looking for to test, when you're looking to launch traffic (or how much traffic your currently doing), etc.
Headcrash,
The advice above about having a domain, website, and calling AM's is accurate. Also, you could look up affiliate managers for networks on LinkedIn (you should have a decent profile there as well) and connect with the affiliate managers to point out who you are and what you will do with their offers.
