Use of 'logo's' on facebook.

I heard facebook has like face recognition software, so i was also wondering, does it matter if i use logo's in my banners?

Thanks.

Do you mean other people's logos in your FB ads?

No, it' doesn't technically matter to Facebook, to the best of my knowledge they don't detect logos and disapprove on that basis... but the brands will care.

Don't think you'll get away for long with using Coca-Cola's or Intel's logos in your ads. FB may very well have brand/reputation management tools that let clients see ads and posts using what appears to be their logos, and in any case brands can readily have your ads removed for IP and Trademark infringement.

Repeated violations are sure to get your accounts taken down. It's not the wild west...

Thanks. Ok, I am not sure if i understand you right.

So, facebook shows 'brands' the adds, subsequently, the brands requests facebook to remove the ads?

Or the brand just tries to shut down the ip adress?

Thanks.

Legally you are not allowed to use anyone's logo (intellectual property) or the face of a person without the explicit consent of the owner of the logo or the person (in case of using a face) but as long as you stay under the Big Money radar they'll probably won't find out. That being said, its a potential liability....the last thing you want is coca cola's army of lawyers coming after you

the only logo that I used and had problems with, was with Facebook and Instagram one.
Lot of my ads are running steadily with logos of different companies without problems
