Linkedin traffic source
Hi guys,
I know this is a sub-forum on Facebook but I am not sure where to post this question.
Have any of you guys sucessfully run campaigns on Linkedin? From their ad policy it seems that they do not like affiliates!

It only works for B2B products/services as the CPC is very high and it targets business users. Don't even test it for the more "traditional" campaigns like sweeps, apps, pin submits, free trials, etc.

You're going to be spending atleast $3-5 per click on LinkedIn (I've seen $8-15 cpc's too), you will be shut down quickly with any gimmick bizopps or affiliate offers in general. There is a way to work LinkedIn but you'd have to be ultra legit and have a solid game plan.
We run alot of lead gen campaigns for our clients who have traditional businesses and depending on the market it can be tough to figure out a good strategy, content creation is key.
I've never tested an affiliate offer on there but if I were to, I would approach it this way.
Example: targeting realtors to a landing page with a free recorded webinar sign up to "learn how to generate real estate leads in 48 hours" on the webinar confirmation page and after the video, have them directed to additional info they can digest. Have an email follow up campaign, integrate some type of digital product that helps teach lead gen / online marketing / website / social marketing to realtors. You get the point. Your product or commission price point would need to be atleast $150+ to make the campaign worthwhile.
Last tip: avoid the small ads, only use the sponsored updates to start.

I've tested purely clean ad campaigns on Linkedin, and had very limited success. The prices are outrageous, and the quality is pretty crap. Don't get me started on the platform.

Its only for B2B products and recruiting purposes. No "traditional" affiliate campaigns.
