Hi guys,
I run online store and use Facebook as a main traffic source.
All my campaigns use conversion pixels (it delivers the best results). I always create a new adset for almost every new product I add to my store. Unfortunately, new adsets simply don't start getting any impressions / clicks.
I always follow this rule for when using pixels:
1m+ audience
at least 30 conversions per day for pixel
budget at least 2x as my bid when I use manual bidding but I sometimes use automatic bidding.
Any tips on how to make this work? I use Qwaya btw.
Thanks in advance,
Best,
Vaz
Can you show us the link to your online store and maybe a few screenshots of the ads you are currently using to promote your store?
Its not in English but I guess you will understand...

Yesterday I tried to raise budget and set automatic bidding, it went crazy and charged me 400% more CPC. Cost per conversion was also very high.
Everything was good in July / August... I can't understand whats going on...
Here is the landing page of this particular ad: http://goo.gl/DTYTxf (I use popups to get more conversions).
Any ideas on how to improve my situation will be highly appreciated...
Any ideas?
I suppose this is not a stupid question
When did this start happening?
Could be a lot of things. Maybe you can try some split tests yourself to see if it is something controllabe from your side.
No advertising platform is static. These are all dynamic environment with other players, other bidders.
It could be something as simply as other people outbidding you.
The same started happening to me 2 days ago. New campaigns dont get any traffic regardless of bid or targeting, and unpausing old ones also doesn't work. Any solutions?
I tried contacting facebook support but im expecting either a canned response or worse...
ill try doing it and see what happens.
Happened to me before yesterday as well. After 24 hours it was all back. Could be some glitch because of starting/pausing campaign, raising bids etc.
okay I contacted facebook support and heres what they answered:
"We're having some technical issues, so, I'm going to open a call to our another team. When I discover why we're having trouble and an answer from them, I'll let you know it."
20 minutes later my ads are spending again normally!
Seems they are flagging some accounts on suspicious of being "warmed up" for cloaking purposes. They are trying to learn the methods FB account sellers use. Heard thats the motive some accounts gets frozen like that.
It could be from a lot of reasons.
If FB support responding coincides with an immediate return to normal behaviour, chances are it was either a technical error on the account (FB is a complex platform, bugs happen) or indeed they locked it for whatever reason.
I imagine the support people you deal with are probably outside the scope of operations of the risk management team too, so they probably just pass the request up a ladder to someone who manually checks the account standing and removes the flag.
That's how I would do it if I were FB - automate flags and suspensions and only reactivate ones when asked by a user, forcing that user to validate their legitimacy in some small form.
Same thing happened today again. Mailed FB support here's what they replied:
"Hello,
Yeap, we're having the same problem again.
Actually, the system is freaking out, but our TI team is working to solve these problems.
I'm so sorry about your ads, really! I don't have anything to help you in this case cause I'm being impaired too.
Please, hold on.
Have a nice week."
