Hi,
I'm looking to hire a freelance developer to look through landers that I've ripped, to look for any hidden redirects. I recently learnt that its possible to hide redirects in code that only activate when getting traffic from an ad source. Now, as someone whose not amazingly technical (possess basic html and css skills) - the thought of trying to search this out in code causes me to break out in cold sweats!
it'd be great if anyone here has hired someone to do a similar thing (or does it themselves), and could help suggest what I need to tell the developer to look out for. I'm using upwork to find them, do I simply need to tell them to search for hidden redirects, or are there other protection methods I need to look out for.
Any help would be massively appreciated!
Thanks
Anuj
This is too funny.
I can do this for you. My hourly rate is $65/hour though.
Hiring someone to help you rip landers is really a poor use of your money.
Hiring someone to build lander templates based on examples you give them is a much better mindset.
That aside, you're basically asking how to hire people to do an extremely simple task in order to help you steal the landers of other people on the forum. Hopefully you can see the humour.
1) Remove all Javascripts to see which ones are TRULY required. If the lander still works after you removed the JS, then it wasn't required. If a JS file IS actually required, take a peak inside to see if there are any URLs. Usually there won't be.
2) Only use Jquery and other Libraries from Google Hosted Libraries .
If you do these 2 things you will most likely never get your traffic redirected. The chance of it happening to you is already VERY SLIM in the first place and is for sure not worth sweating over.
Of course, there's always the risk that the develop may add a few scripts to your landers...
just ctrl+F and look for http or www and if those links are not needed remove the code
Bannerslanders.com 40 bux to rip and clean landers for you. Why waste time yourself?
