I started this about two hours ago and my CTR was at .716 @ .08-7 CPC so I decided to adjust my BID and moved it to the low suggested bid of .33 to see if i could get cheaper clicks.
but as you can see CTR took a nose dive and my CPC went up. How am I supposed to get clicks down to under .05 ? ? ? ? any suggestions? Aso the email submit pays $1.40 and I am targeting just under 200K people if that matters!
Thanks in advance for the help!
well if this is USA traffic and your sub 10c your doing very good....getting 5c clicks in the states isn't easy anymore tbh I am happy with 20c clicks in the states these days...
and it looks to me like you CTR might have tanked due to frequency but thats relative....a .5 is still damn good... :P
Nice campaign...
Try bidding around ~0.11c and seeing how you go with the volume!
Definitely if this was dating I would be killing to have this kind of CTR and CPC but it's an email submit that is HIGHLY targeted. I am wanting to try and retain volume, should I move my bid to .1 and see what kind of CPC I get? or work it down a couple cents at a time even though that resulted in lower CTR ?
lol I just got done typing that thanks will try that and see what happens!
I adjusted the bid to .11 and it held steady at .09 CPC so I moved it to .09 BID and will sit and watch to see what happens to CPC hopefully volume stays steady and CPC gets closer to .05
Let us know how you do in a few more days cause I usually get scrub pretty bad with email submits after a few days so I stopped promoting email submits.
^ I experienced this in my previous campaign I was profiting 400-500 a day for like 5 days then it came to a stop I am trying to get something going again
in cases like this what i usually do is pause the campaign (or cap it with the budget) and then drop my bid to in your case some where around .15 cents. Then unpause on a new day with $0.00 spend and if the CTR stays up above .2-.3 I'll typically see a further decrease in avg. CPC.
that may be too low to get any kind of volume or decent impressions in the US and you may just need to maintain a high bid to keep the CTR up, but that's just where testing comes into play.
either way great CTR and those CPC's are damn good for US traffic. Definitely be creating more ads with fresh images and have them ready, because it looks like your are going to run through the demo pretty quick and banner blindness may set in, but fresh ads will keep the ball rolling as long as possible. keep us updated!
@ .09c you may see a decrease in volume. You'll end up paying around 0.05 - 0.06 bidding that though.

this is where I am at this morning I paused the ad last night when I went to bed and this is what I have done so far hopefully I will see profitability today
UPDATE:
this is the lasted for today

this is overall

Seems like i won't get the volume I wanted on this campaign So i tried another niche that is really tight and this is what it is looking like so far

only problem is now I have to work on conversion the email submit only pays 1.05 but we shall see what I can cook up tomorrow!
totally forgot to edit the first pic oh well it was a failed campaign anyhow lol
what was your conversion rate ?
Conversion Rate was 4.8% and EPC was $0.06 just wasn't going to work.
on my new campaign in a different niche I am getting 1.3% conversions EPC is just shy of $0.02
Let us know, the CTR is looking pretty awesome!
Also when i have facebook campaigns like this i try to go offer hunting and see if theres anything else (sometimes weird/random offers) that may do well with the same traffic.
It'd work by you collecting the email yourself with aweber, icontact etc, then sending them to the offer you found. To test you just split test it with $20 of your current traffic.
Are you doing co-reg? If not I think you should and collect their emails as well. You will most likely see a higher epc but you will also be able to collect their mails.

So, I ditched the last email submit and traded it in for a new one and that one also did not go well i spent 60 bucks and was only able to make back $13
and now with the newest (3rd offer) I am not getting ANY traffic, CTR 1+ and FB wont serve me traffic WTF lol this campaign is just going from worse to worserest ever
thats one nice ctr...are you using fanpages?
yeah... now if I could only find the door that leads to profits lol

I am barely profitable($36) the new offer is doing better but definitely needs improvement. I might need to work on my Lander some try and increase conversion
So I have a lot of people posting their email address right on to the wall of my page is there anything that I can do with these if I start to collect them ?
Always collect emails if you can, since you are promoting email submits I would suggest that you mail them other emails submits or coupons for best results.
Thought I would update this and share what I have or maybe what I haven't learned from all my trial and errors on facebook fan pages.
I have made around 20 some different fan pages Some exactly like the pages that made me a couple thousand bucks in a few days time and others that were not in the same niche but using the same idea.
I was linking to a free jersey email submit through iframes and this was the results:
My successful campaigns were targeting NFL teams I started with the steelers, browns, and packers ( reasoning I hate all three of them and liked the idea of making money off their fans) it was simple as targeting only interest and not touching the settings for male female or age... I did the broad targeting option #green bay packers #aaron Rodgers stuff like that and it worked well I was paying .02 cpc and earning around .05 epc it was all good.
when I tried branching out with other teams (cowboys, raiders, jaguars, and the eagles) all of the sudden my simple angle was not working. So I decided to target just men then just women then certain age groups and can't get anything working for my offer.
So I decided okay that's not working so I tried other things, twilight I broke even on for awhile and have a fan base I still drop to that make 100 here and there but nothing that will ever help me leave my 9-5.
I tried NASCAR, wwe, among others all at a lose.
Anyone have any suggestions as to how things crashed so quick or what I a missing.
Thanks jonas
jonas have you ever tried something other than email submit offers?
I have thought about doing that but haven't gotten around to it. . . . I will test those ideas out tonight.
