Hi all
I'm having an recurring issue and was wondering if some of the more experienced members here could advise.
I start testing FB campaigns with oCPM bidding and am getting nice CPCs (ads have 10% CTR) but after a few hours the CPCs start rising like hell even though the CTRs keep more or less the same
I then try to limit what I pay per click (either oCPM or oCPC) and set the what the click is worth to me to the average CPC I was getting on oCPM (sometimes even slightly higher) - but then all the traffic stops.
Anyone have any clue how to proceed?
p.s: I'd love to join a FB Mastermind group if anyone is part of one
You should try a low bid and climb slowly, that works for me. (i using ocpm)
Make sure your targeting is on point, the better the affinity with your audience the better the your CTR and relevance will be, thus lowering your CPC. I personally always use oCPM not saying thats the right or wrong way, its just what i like. Also be creative with your angle, think outside the box, try to spike interest in the subject in relation to your demo, Facebook is a social site give people something to interact with.
I have been able achieve 1 cent clicks in the US before, some niches are easier than others, for instance not much interest i can spike about "socks" or "shoe laces" even tho i am sure with enough time i can think of some creative way to spark some interest.
just my 2 cents.
