Is it safe to use Facebook conversion pixel on farmed accounts?
Im not too technical so Im not sure if they could link my accounts if I set up the pixel in
Thanks!
If they are from separate accounts they are inherently unlinked as they are activated by users, not you or your tracker (client side javascript).
However, if you use them on the same offers/landers, Facebook certainly could detect that URLs used by a banned account were also the points of triggering of conversion codes from another account.
They could do this but I haven't heard of it being a likely mechanism toward bans - but if it were me.... xD
Easy way to get around that is to never use the same domain or server (or CDN bucket etc.) for a different account. However this won't help if your conversion code is firing on the same network offer page that FB deems non-compliant and they could very well detect the URL there and link it via the uniqueness to your aff ID.
In short, if you use it, you do give Facebook a route to detecting similarities, but this route may not be on their radar at all.
I think firing a pixel from GTM (Google Tag Manager) would be a good solution as well as you won't have the actual pixel code snippet on-site
