First of all, I would highly recommend that you read this thread if you haven't already:

Secondly, if you read some of the most recent success stories and follow-alongs, you'll quickly see what types of offers and traffic sources are working for a lot of people right now.
Thirdly, you can talk to your AMs. Ask them what types of offers are the hottest right now that are relatively easy for newbies to get started with, then ask them to recommend some traffic sources to best promote those offers on.
