One Cent per click on Adwords?

Hi Stackers!

I've read that its possible to get one cent clicks on Adwords?

How is that possible?! I usually pay $3-4 per click.

Anyone has any guide / resource / mastermind group / tips to help me achieve this?

A few cents per click would be good enough! )

Too good to be true. Unless it's not a US,UK, AU, CA traffic and the keywords are not that lucrative

There are many countries where you can get mobile traffic for 2-3c. Some countries you can get 1c clciks. You will need some mad skills though

In the end, reducing ad costs accomplishes nothing in isolation. Even $0.01 clicks from Adwords can bomb if they are untargeted and being arbitraged to a generic offer wall.

$0.01 clicks are still easily achievable in Display/the GDN.

It's all about the CTR.

However, it's best to not bid via Manual CPC to target a $0.01, use Conversion Optimizer's Target CPA setting to hit a $0.01 CPC by targeting a low-enough CPA to make hitting a $0.01 CPC actually worth your time.

Side note: Not sure why you'd focus on CPC instead of CPA and ROAS, but there you have it.

Question:

1. You start out bidding manual CPC yes?

2. At what point do you switch to CPA bidding? AKA at what point do YOU recommend bidding by CPA (as I know adwords recommends, what, 30-days of conv. data first? Sometimes less depending on volume?)

3. I always worry about this with Google Display ... ruining a winning campaign. If you're hitting your internal CPA goals -- mostly as in "ok, I can live with this cost" -- bidding with manual CPC -- is there a chance you'll screw something up by going into the campaign and asking it to hit a slightly lower CPA -- to really hit a great acquisition cost?

Thanks!

you can get 0.01 cent clicks with a very high ctr in gdn in some 3rd world countries and with mobile traffic only. i dont know of any country which u can get 0.01 cent desktop clicks. unless you have a $5 campaign budget daily and 0.01 bid which will make google to send you the cheapest traffic available in their inventory to encourage you to buy more daily. so once you bite it and raise your budget to $50 you can say bye to 0.01 cent clicks.
