Native ad arbitrage sites

I was reading this blog:
http://www.nativeadbuzz.com/blog/3-s...bitrage-sites/

and I wanted to know if there was any code or wordpress plugins available that created these types of sites?

I tried Autoblog, didn't do what I expected, but to be honest I don't think I gave it a chance as it's not a focus for me at the moment.

But, I'm also interested in hearing how people are getting content for these websites.

I hired 2 Indian women to basically rip content and upload it to Wordpress. Before that, I did most of it myself.

Piece of advice, if you're going to wedge that fun Adsense arrow button under your galleries next button, your playing "get paid roulette" with a company who won't respond to emails or legal threat.

thebrent, did you use any Wordpress plugins? For instance many of the sites have a next page button.

Yea man, how to set it up is on you. I'm not giving up my setup on public forum.

Google cares about it's user experience a lot more with these sites... if you're just ripping content, littering your site with ads in the wrong placements, trying to trick/force users to click, or doing anything remotely shady (even without knowing) you are going to have Adsense come down with the ban hammer.

You need to have unique (albeit can be same topics) content, not just slide shows full of images, and your ads must be placed in the appropriate positions, and labelled correctly.

These sites can take months to get off the ground, and even longer to turn out to be worth the time and energy. Simple example is the cashflow alone. You are laying out at minimum 52 days worth of spend before you are getting paid any revenue (assuming adsense is your major monetizing method, which it majority of the time is). Combine that with the risk of not knowing you're violating Adsense policy and potential ban, and you could be out 52x your daily spend and not receive any revenue to offset it.

So my advice with these is to start small, use your profits to scale, build a quality niche content site and not some shitty viral arbitrage site that provides no real value. Not only will your site last longer, you will be able to charge premiums for your inventory over time, you'll build a brand, and you'll be able to advertise and work with tons of networks to bring in quality traffic to your site.

Adam nailed it, beating the float is very difficult. It's a fucking crap shoot with Adsense.

IMHO, Adsense isn't a viable option for these types of sites anymore. Unless you have an adx account with a rep, I wouldn't dick with Google at all.

yup the last para is good advice, also...

some of the shite I see being pedalled through native arb, if they even just spent 300 bucks a day, (take it from your shitty click bait ad budget) on a good set of outsourced writers, and banged the unique content out, constantly.. make headway to get in Google news, try pushing the content into every syndication feed you can find.. push much love to your social channels.. and before long you'll have a purely organic self propelling site that will never get the ban hammer.. but hey.. maybe that's not instant enough for most people.

Would it be possible to make enough revenue on other networks aside from adsense ? This guy said he only used 4 adsense placements and has 25 spots from other networks, and retargeting, etc.

Also is the traffic buying method here native ads as well? or Just PPV

These are starting to border on questions no one will answer, because it's a public forum.

You seem to have some really good ideas on how to monetize and get
Traffic, so why not test it yourself!

If you're running adsense on the site, ONLY buy traffic from high quality sources (fb, taboola, outbrain, etc..)... buying from PPV to arbitrage will get your adsense account banned quick fast and in a hurry.

And yes it's possible to make money without Adsense. I can't speak from personal experience there, but a few friends are connected directing into the ad exchanges and say they make more then they did with Adsense. Worth looking into for sure.

i've been looking into this model for a while. haven't been able to find a theme or plugin that easily makes a 30-page post like these guys use.... any suggestions?

I use this plugin..

http://codecanyon.net/item/theia-pos...dpress/2856832

then its just a matter of using a page break to split the post up..

thanks for that - had not seen that before. its not quite what i'm looking for - looking for something where the entire page loads when clicking on the next button... so basically the post will have 30 separate pages for example.

yeah thats what it does...

you do a single post with your "13 Funniest Pics Of ..." after each pic/text you insert a page break
then this plugin gives you your previous/next buttons and "page 1 of 13"

it seemed to me that was just a slider in effect not actually making more pages... i'll take a closer look.

yeah i knew about the page break code for WP... couldn't ever get it to work with the site i was working on. may have just been something wonky with the theme I was using that wasn't playing nice with Page Break.
