Adwords suspension & PPcall ?

Hi guys,

I have been suspended on Adwords.Been trying to get it lifted through their email because they don't have call support for my country.I run complete Call only ads.No dodgy pay per click stuff that Adwords hates.I recall I had an issue with adwords not being able to verify a phone number issued by Invoca.

Could this be the problem?

Was wondering how did you guys deal with this?

Could it be I had another account which I never used registered to the same CC?

Or should I cross into a neighbouring country and try to ring them from there?

More importantly, if I get banned for eternity(barring me changing my identity) what other traffic sources can crack PPCall?

Thanks.

When I started running PPCall, I was exclusively using Adwords traffic. Now, Facebook represents 95% of my traffic for PPCall campaigns.

@wangyalun what type of campaigns were you running?

@tbranley I have used Facebook for PPCall campaigns but the conversion rate is quite low and also Facebook charges are high for post reach. I was paying $6 for 1K reach. Can you share few tips with me so I can use Facebook again for PPCall ads?

I drive users from ads to advertorials or videos. From that page, I get 3-4% conversions (converting phone calls). Targeting and CTR are crucial with FB campaigns. So know your target demographic to start then split test conversions by male/female, then age, then any other applicable categories. Hope this helps.

Brilliant. I have tried the same approach but cost per reach is way too high. How much do you pay per 1K reach? I assume you are only targeting US geo.

I'm not sure what's going on, but they shut down all my ppcall traffic yesterday too

I had same issue. I was running tech support campaigns. They shutdown all my ads and account. They restored my account but not the tech support campaigns.

I am running both campaigns you mentioned on Adwords without any problem. Sent you a PM.

Have you gotten a reply from Adwords? Sounds like based on what you are doing, you should be fine and I find their support replies to be fairly quick. Contact them again if you haven't heard back yet.

I don't see why not getting your Invoca # verified would be grounds for suspension.... it should just prevent the ad from going live.

Well after working out the issues that led to my account being suspended a week ago and being given the verbal go-ahead and reapproval from Google, I ran all week last week last week without issues and got the account ban from Adwords today. So frustrating.

You account is flagged. File an appeal for thorough review.

Sucks when the long hand of Adwords bans accounts with very little detail as to why. Was your account set up as a MCC account or no?
