Need some suggestions for a case study..

Going to run a case study this week comparing 2 landing pages which will be layed out the exact same. They will be designed as 2 extremes though;

1. Will be designed very nicely, with pretty graphics, buttons etc
2. Will be designed the complete opposite, with a 1990 design feel, the most basic buttons and look possible

We'll see which converts best.

What i need help with.
Thinking of a niche that i can see a good amount of conversions with, without spending too much money. I'll be advertising on Facebook, so a Facebook compliant offer that has a $5 or lower payout so we can see a lot of conversions for accurate results.

Thought about gaming but it does better direct linking a lot of the time.

I was thinking dating, but it might get a little pricey, but I'm leaning towards dating right now.

just looked at Offerbuzz and noticed...

EWA has a Super Mario offer, but it requires people to download a .exe - I know from personal experience there has to be some verbiage that says "hey, this is a download" otherwise people click 'Play Now' and get scared when it starts downloading all of a sudden... so maybe your lander could sell that fact?

I vote for a car insurance short-form offer. Since it's a niche that you have a lot of experience in you hopefully won't have too much trouble getting a chunk of leads for cheap, and it's a niche where most people assume that the user needs to have trust in your landing page, which should make the results of the case study extremely interesting.

Or maybe one of those contest offers, where people have to submit their pictures and stuff. (Membership Clubs)

Not sure if the Reviewers are fine with that, all dickheads.

good idea! would make for a great case study for sure and we'd get the added benefit that better landers would be needed

I vote for international "Groupon offer".
I know that you have done this before but I still like to see if they are still good.

yea I would suggest car insurance or dating leaning more towards car insurance though since fb are a pain in the ass with getting good dating ads approved

I'm feeling the insurance niche, it's a solid niche to test this in and has good converting short forms. Will get started

Maxbounty has some.
I used to see these auto insurance zip submit offers that pays like $4-$5 but I can't seem to find them anymore.
