Choosing a tracker (and CDN)

Hey guys,

I'm currently reading the getting started threads and wanted to start creating accounts etc right away. The guide suggests Voluum for tracking, but apparently they just turned evil and removed their free plan. Feels a bit expensive now since I'm just starting out. Had a look at alternatives like Adsbridge, Cake etc. What would you suggest for a newbie?

The guide also suggests rackspace for CDN, but just read the CDN tutorial by caurmen, and I'm thinking about giving Amazon a try since rackspace are asking for my credit card information before stating a service price, which is pretty hilarious. Maybe I'm just missing something.

Hey ,

if you are looking for hosted trackers Adsbridge should be cheaper than Voluum.

If you looking into self- hosted trackers both FunnelFlux and Thrive are great and have a 30 day trial.

Alright, thanks man. When comparing plans for Adsbridge, "Affiliate network integration" is a feature in the professional plan and above only. Anyone know if it's a deal breaker then to take the starter plan, or can I integrate with an affiliate network on my own somehow? I'm rather web-savvy so I dont mind getting my hands dirty if need be.

I don't have much experience but if you are looking for a free tracker I read a lot about Prosper202. Not sure how it compares to Voluum or other trackers really..

Thanks, I ended up using Voluum. To others starting out I would say that yes it seems expensive, but if you cant afford it, you most likely cant afford succeeding in AFM yet.
