We're a legal entity based in Poland, the FTC does not apply to us. We're an analytics platform and you agree to be fully liable for whatever you may be running. Tracking close to 500 million visitors / day, we've only had a few very serious complaints where we took action and banned users (ie. viruses, malware).

As a friendly note, if you're worried about the FTC going after you, you should perhaps reconsider the types of campaigns you're running.

I would expect that all legitimate operators---whether trackers, affiliate networks, traffic sources--will abide by the laws of the jurisdiction they fall under.

I would also expect that when push comes to shove, even illegitimate operators will not decide to go to jail and have their own lives completely destroyed so that some affiliate running shady campaigns on their platform can continue to enjoy his baller lifestyle, scot free.

Just ask yourself, would you decide any differently if you were in their shoes?

Hey Rob would you mind collaborating a bit about what kind of actions did you guys take? Just a ban?

And where are those complaints from?

If you're running something illegal and they really want to take you down - they will.

Even if Voluum doesn't give out your info - your affiliate network will. They're not going to take responsibility for your stuff.
