Netcomber alternative?

Hi guys,

did anyone use Netcomber.com? I did and it was like the best tool ever for my needs. It was able to detect "hidden" connections between websites based on 100+ signals like IP, registrar, retargeting pixels, analytics ID, adsense ID, the HTML code itself, used technologies, same images etc... It showed websites which had similar features and showed the percentage how sure it was these sites are somehow related.

Now its down because apparently it was some kind of an academic project and there is NO alternative whatsoever that I could find.

Of course there are many tools that are able to find SIMILAR websites (similarsites.com, builtwith.com...) but I was looking for RELATED websites.
E.g. similar site would be stmforum.com and warriorforum.com or something like that. Related website would be another website owned by the same person.

It looks like they were acquired by Profound Networks who presumably have incorporated the tech into their packages.

I've never actually heard of the tool or a tool that finds sites based on some pattern recognition for linking. Pretty cool but not sure how useful it is to marketing? Seems more in the real of anti-fraud, piracy, criminal investigations etc.

I didn't say I used it for marketing. I used it because one guy was ripping off my LPs and I wanted to monitor him and his activity. It was brilliant for that. Anyways the Profound Networks thing looks really "corporate", that kind of stuff when you have to ask them for a quote and they come up with some ridiculous amount, then you negotiate like an idiot and in the end you get nowhere...

Oh right, that's exactly what I envisioned someone using it for haha, you stalker you.

Yes Profound definitely looks like a bit of a non-starter.
