It looks very similar to VWO .....it could even be a whitelabel version of it....

Hi all,

Conversion202 is a partnership we have with ConversionDoubler (CD), we've been working them for some time now and having them add more affiliate focused features.

It's easy to integrate into Prosper202 and over time the integration with get more and more seamless.

Yes, it's more expensive, but they are staffed up where it counts. Like us (Tracking202), everyone is based in the US, i.e. 100% of the developers and support staff.

It costs more but you will appreciate that when you need it. Making sure our Tracking202 users were well taken care of was a big deal for us, and the CD team are known for taking care of clients.

For example as I was writing this post, I randomly called the support number on the website with a blocked caller id and one of the main guys picked up after the first ring. In the affiliate space, time is money. The 2-3 days going back and forth with support staff could potentially cost you more in the long run than your savings. It's kind of like how we all know shared hosting is cheaper than Dedicated or VPS, but also know that trying to run a serious business with shared hosting is a disaster waiting to happen.

Apart from the top notch support, we actually have direct input on features to add. Need a feature? Contact me and we will work on getting it in there.

At the end of the day I believe you have to weigh all your options and go with the what makes sense to you. But when you choose Conversion202 (CD) know that you are choosing to work with two companies that have been helping and continue to help affiliates with tools (free) and services for many years and have your best interest at heart.

I love VWO, support and product are great... and Conversion202 looks very similar.

That being said, one place that VWO falls short is that if you wanted to test several different traffic sources, or performance of a traffic source, you need to create different UTM links for each parameter (as far as I know) and set that up in VWO as well.

For things like e-mail traffic this is fine, but for large campaigns on CPV or PPC it'd be a pain in the ass to make hundreds of different links in VWO, and to look at the data would take tons of time.

So, if Conversion202 integrates seamlessly so you can tell which traffic source/ad/target/account is working best on whichever variation of your lander, then that would make it pretty damn complete.

btw will the new prosper 1.7 that will be released next week have an integrated landingpage rotator?

09-02-2011 10:15 PM #9 nusolutionz (Veteran Member)

does it also support conversion tracking for third party sites? with vwo thats a problem because you can't place the vwo code on the offers landingpage

@theguvna is this what you are looking for? http://bit.ly/pc9JSU

@nusolutionz We are working on a new drastically improved version of the rotator that will finally provide the flexibility you need to test better. Right now Conversion202 doesn't do that, but a postback pixel is in the works that will enable you to ping a conversion via the network's interface or through the new pixel piggy back system in p202 1.7

I wished you were more responsive when I was testing out the T202 Beta. Weeks would go by without a single reply.

make sure it has better server side and global postback URL or it will be worthless for mobile and table traffic IMHO. systems without java do NOT handle pixels well.
