Google Launches Postmaster Tools ... Like Webmaster Tools but for High Volume Emails!
Looks sweet!

Google Postmaster Tools
If you send a large volume of emails to Gmail users, you can use Postmaster Tools to see:
- If users are marking your emails as spam
- Whether you’re following Gmail's best practices
- Why your emails might not be delivered
- If your emails are being sent securely

Anyone using this?
This resource is for qualified high-volume senders. If you’re an everyday Gmail user in need of support, please visit the Help Center.
Whats a "qualified high-volume senders" ?
Some searching helped me find the answer
"You need to add and verify your authenticated domain. You will then need to prove you own the domain by entering the DNS TXT or the DNS CNAME. Once it’s verified and you are sending data, you will get access to several dashboards."
Great I will test this out and see whether its useful. We dont send a ton of email but great to see tools from google to improve on delivery.
Update 1
Ok all setup. Pretty easy to verify by adding the TXT record to the DNS of your main sending domain. Of course no data to see yet.
Main problem might be this as per google help:
display data only when there is a sizable daily volume of email traffic (up to the order of hundreds) coming from your Authentication Domains and/or certain other conditions, in place to prevent abuse.
Min volume:
sizable daily volume of email traffic (up to the order of hundreds)
We dont send that much from our main domain, and a lot of transactional email goes through 3rd party systems and their domains rather then ours.

Nice share. Looks like it was launched back in July. I had no idea about it.

Considering they are data nerds, wouldn't that tip them off to anything you are doing? Sounds like a trap to me.
