Whew,
I literally just got the membership to ask this question here. If noone knows here - won't know anywhere.
I want to dropship shit I sell over FB/Adwords/mediabuys. I need the shit to sell and the dropshipper.
I tried InventorySource - but their support is so poor they didn't tell me I need a US bank account to work with them until after I paid all the fees. I live in Canada - I could probably get the US bank account, but why? I'm pretty sure they've invented a solution in 2015 where people who advertise ONLINE don't need to sit there 2 blocks away from the bank to confirm their existence for the bank.
I need wholesaler/dropshippers. Think DHgate - but for stuff like Outdoor Survival equipment - not fake crap-quality bongs.
Please help.
I have an eCommerce background in Automotive Parts & Accessories. Drop Shipping in Auto-Ecommerce is 90%+ of the business.
Not sure if you are setup or not yet but...
We did not have competitive pricing at all until we were taken seriously AND by only working direct with the Brand/Company not with a distributor. This usually involved meeting the sales rep, negotiating pricing, etc. They have to believe you will add value, support their product. At least in the automotive world they did NOT want individuals working from home they could care less about your L77T skillz.
Your best bet is to forget the scam dropship companies and import your own products from China, build your own survial kits etc.

I have no idea what else would be in here, but you get the picture.
No, you don't need a US bank account for US suppliers.
But any legit supplier will ask you for a seller's permit (any legal document permitting you to sell stuff in your hometown, for tax/legal reasons) and company info (like your EIN #, years in business, etc), just so they have it on file for compliance.
I have a drop shipping account with quite a few companies, I am also in Canada and NEVER was I asked for a Bank account and specifically for US one. Actually makes no sense other than if they want to scam you.
As apeek22 suggested go directly to the brand, if they don't offer you drop shipping then ask whom of their wholesalers does or whom they can recommend and go from there.
