Voluum Question - Having 2 LP

Hey,

Got a question, maybe someone can shed some light on it.

If I have 2 landing pages for the same offer. The first one sells (promotes) the 2nd landing page and when visitors get to the 2nd LP they get sold on the offer, how can I track placements this way?

What I did to track clicks and CTR was to put the 2nd LP as an offer and link it to the 1st LP, but this way I can't use the postback tool so I can see which placements converts.

Do you have to move the user from page to page?

Can you simple use one lander with a bit of JavaScript to set LP1 layer invisible and LP2 layer visible as they click through?

The same way multi-question survey landers do.

Yeah. I move users from one page to another and the last one is monetized. The 2 LP's are very different, I don't know if it's possible to merge them. By using an initial LP I can engage them more and they are more willingly to convert on the second one.

I wished Voluum had some kind of option to allow such a setup using multiple lp's interlinked for the same campaign.

I was talking to Voluum guys about the same problem about a month ago and here is the reply I got, hopefully it can help you:

Currently it's not possible to have a multi-step funnel of this format within a single Voluum campaign and have each consecutive click-through tracked.
However, as a viable solution you could split the process over two separate Voluum campaigns.

Here's a simple flow chart of this configuration: screen

With this funnel you will be able to track the CTR % on both LPs.

The first LP will have a click URL placed within it as normal.
The offer which follows the first LP will be the campaign URL of the secondary campaign.

The traffic source tokens which are mapped initially will be replaced with Voluum tokens for the campaign redirect (offer) in the first campaign.

For example, if your initial campaign URL is:

http://track.xxx.com/1534564321?zone={zone}

The 2nd campaign URL placed for the redirection will be;

http://track.xxx.com/1534564321?zone={var1}
