Today we are going to share with you guys how we make money on Facebook in 2 weeks.
What did we have
Offer: Aliexpress for Android and iOS.
Geo: Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Colombia.
The timing of the campaign: 2 weeks.
Income: $52 000.
Expenses: $42 000.
Net profit: $10 000.
What we did
- Created ads with shoes and clothing at competitive prices.
- Targeted on Latin America countries: Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Colombia.
- For Brazil we created banners in Portuguese language, for other countries in Spanish. We made simple texts on purpose to be able to translate them via Google Translate easily.
Our banners:
We were targeting men and women separately with different banners depending on shoes models and colours.
- Created campaigns and download banners.
- Tested each banner with initial $5 budget and choose CPM bidding. Within this bidding process, we could adjust the budget only. We received CPM automatically, depending on an auction and our banners. From our experience, this approach delivers the cheapest clicks and a sufficient amount of traffic.
- Launched campaigns.
- Spent the test budget
- Optimized and kept only the most effective banners: where CPC was lower and conversion was higher.
Results:
In our case, successful banners had a CTR of 2-3% and the cost per click was $0.04-0.06 per click. Herewith, the install conversion was ~15% and the installation cost was about $0.35-0.4.
The margin was good, we got about $3 000-5 000 per day. Taking into account the ROI of 30-40%, the net profit was about $1 000-2 000 per day.
