Affiliate Offer Has No Postback URL

Hey everyone,

So I've signed up for the affiliate program of a new product/company that doesn't work with an affiliate network and therefore doesn't have a fully fleshed out dashboard/platform. They use LeadDyno. The only thing that their LeadDyno dashboard provides me with is a referral link that tracks visitors, leads, and commissions. That's it.

I am wondering how am I going to be able to track conversions on Voluum if they don't seem to offer the postback URL feature or some sort of capability that communicates back with Voluum and lets it know there was a conversion.

I hope this can be resolved. Thanks in advance for your help!

Can you at least send a subid? which might get recorded by Leaddyno. You could then just cut and paste the converting ids.

I recently ran an offer that was converting well but had no subid tracking at all, so i had to stop running it. Without that critical data you can't optimize. Unless it just converts like crazy to start off.

If you cant work with a postback (S2S pixel), can you work with an image or iframe C2S pixel at least?
My general rule is: no tracking, no campaign! because if you cant measure you are running blind and have no way to know how you're doing and you cant optimize

Thanks for the replies!

The referral link seems to contain a subid, i think?

This is the format that it is in: http://www.url.com/?afmc=20

I am allowed to create multiple links as they have a subIDs/channels page. However, I am not sure what to do from here. It's an offer that I think can do very well in an untapped niche. I would hate to give it up. The company is new and again, doesn't seem to have their affiliate program fleshed out like more experienced/older companies.

Should I just forget it?

Keep in mind, their platform (LeadDyno) does show clicks, leads, and conversions. I don't think that it wouldn't track but I could be completely wrong.

Can you send a unique ID with every click? This is what you need for tracking.

Look up the LeadDyno docs and see. It may be an affiliate tracking system made for tracking a few referrals, not advertising traffic.

Yeah it only tracks referrals.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to send a unique ID with every click.

If they dont have pixels, postback and can't get a dynamic id, then there isn't much you can do. A tracking system - Voluum, trackingdesk and others - require at least one of them to be able to count the conversions.

I just contacted them:
- NO pixels
- NO dynamic parameters
- Not planed for future developments

After saying that one of the option is required for campaign optimization they replied: Noted.

So there is (little) hope.

I Totally agree with cbrughmans on the above.
analyzing your results adjust your campaign and optimize it, these are the things that defines if you are going to be successful in this Biz or not.

with out tracking its just like buying a lotto ticket maybe you will win but higher chances are that you most likely to lose.
so my suggestion here is to wait till they have a full tracking system that will allow you to optimize your campaigns or just bet
(I say place 20 on red) lol
