Hi,
After speaking to my affiliate managers, they are all recommending I go into pin submits. I have just begun a campaign in app installs (spend of $1) however, when I started searching for more offers they pretty much warned me off them. They believe that PIN submits are the way to go for newbies.
So I have a few questions about them:
1- from what I gather, a pin submit is where the user has signs up for a subscription service on their mobile - is this right?
2- And with these you can use banners, and landing pages. Do the landing pages then have to link to the main offer page? Or can you create your own offer page?
I can understand if these questions are a little stupid, but any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
1. Yes
2. You can link your banners and LPs to main page offer. You can't create your own offer page (unless you're high revenue, but that's another topic)
There's still a lot of money being made with app installs nowadays.
FYI - Here's an excellent introduction by Charles Ngo:

Amy
Pin submits is a very good vertical right now. I think its a good one for newbies (but not only) along with sweepstakes in my opinion and if your AMs are recommending this vertical than they probably see its working great. of course if you dont want it (or want smething else as well) than tell them.
1) Yes.
2) What Tim Roth said.
