How Many Networks Is Too Many?

Hi Guys,

Quick question as I'm working on getting more networks to push our products. We are currently working with 2 networks with 2 more in the pipeline and I'm always looking for more networks to work with. But, is there a "magic" number that should not be crossed? Can your product be over-saturated across numerous networks and hurt you more than help you?

I want to make sure my efforts are worth it in the end or if I need to scale back and focus on 2-4 networks at most with any given product.

TIA!

I think what you want to look at is what is the pub base at that network and does it fit your space......

I would really try to find quality over quantity any day of the week.....I would def try to find some bigger pubs in your niche and contact them directly....all it takes it 1-2 good affs running your stuff...a good aff can blow shit up if the offer converts....

What is the best way to go about finding bigger publishers in a certain niche?

What niche are we talking about? You could find similar products/offers on offervault, offerbuzz, odigger and see what networks are running a lot of them. You could also find niche product sites and spy on them with something like compete.com - see where a lot of their traffic is coming from, track back to those sites and see if they have affiliate links you can pull out and thus figure out who they might be running with.
