25% AdCash Click Discrepancy !

Hello Everyone,

I am using AdCash and Voluum at the moment. Adcash shows that i have buy 40,000+ impression but my Voluum only shows 28000+ clicks which is 25% lesser.

I know definitely there will be some click discrepancy. But for my case, i am actually losing 25% click for nothing.

Is this normal?

Thanks!

Unfortunately it is. On some other sources for some targets I encountered even 50% clickloss. Unless you make profits you are okay, but if it lose money just cut those bad targets.

If you're a regular client and spend regularly, most managed sources are open to discuss a possible refund or chance for an overdelivery by default if the clickloss is too big. To be fair, 10-15% is absolutely normal, but on such a small scale I don't feel like they're going to refund you. If you scale this campaign and reach reasonable spent, make sure to work something out.

I just managed to find this thread

Not sure if this problem still exists?

Hello!

25% is a little bit on the high side of the possible discrepancies.
I suggest you to check once again the settings of the tracking. If this issue continues, please report it to our support team via email contact@adcash.com.

Improving my server setup reduced clickloss from about 25-30% to about 10-15% on Adcash.

CDS (Beyond Hosting) + Cloudflare for DNS.

You could as well direct link after optimizing (stop using Voluum for tracking) to reduce clickloss.

But I rather have the stats than 5% less clickloss.

Up to 10% discrepancy is normal. Different technologies track different numbers.

You should make sure you have this 10% limit in the contract with your traffic source. Its OK to work on their numbers as long as you stay within this 10% band. If not, the difference should be either based on your numbers or be cut in two between you and the traffic source. That way your risk is always limited in case such big discrepancies occur. It will also give the traffic source a very good incentive to test out the tracking thoroughly before setting up the campaign(s).
