Traffic Junky - How the bid system exactly works

Hey guys,

I'm having trouble getting more traffic on Traffic Junky. Currently I'm bidding more than the top 3 but "only" getting 6-8% of the traffic.

Top spot is bidding less and still getting 26% of traffic.
Second spot also bidding less and getting 20% of traffic.

I see similar top 3s at other placements.

Can someone tell me how this bidding system exactly works since being the top bidder doesn't get me most traffic?

ps: I'm not reaching my daily budget so that isn't a problem either. Also tried setting budget to $10k and $20k but doesn't get me more traffic either.

Maybe it's because of Frequency Cap? What's yours?

I've tried 1, 2 and 3. Don't think setting to a higher value would make sense?
In Traffic Junky's bidding panel I can see the top bids also have a frequency cap (doesn't say the number).

1, 2, 3 are all fine and usually you don't want more, at least on dating campaigns. Look what little searching brought me into:
