I reside in Oakland / SF area.
Here's my background:
I founded and ran an online marketing agency who did the usual:
- Web design
- SEO
- Social media presence + creating ads on FB.
Previously - I worked in Ad Tech on the sales side for close to 3 years and still read the Advertising Industry Trade publications daily.
I saw firsthand the 6 to 7 figure media buys that Affiliates would run through our system along with our partners.
I now work at a startup doing the 9-6 pm thing but want to do Affiliate marketing in the evenings and weekends and attended a few Ad Tech Conferences in SF and NYC.
I'm definitely a newbie to Affiliate marketing - industry knowledge means squat if you never run a campaign.

Here in SF as well. Just getting back into Aff marketing again. Started about 5 years ago and took about a year and half off. Now I have to relearn the industry again lol
