Hi All,
This is it, the moment of truth...
Offer selected? Done.
Angle chosen? Done.
Banners created and approved? Done AND Done.
Ready to go? Not really.
Oh.
Right, I'm following the Mobile Cookbook appetizer, and have reached a standstill at Getting my affiliate link into decisive AND Linking Decisive with my affiliate network
My affiliate network is clicksmob and they don't use Cake (they have their own). This is whats confusing me, as I can't follow the tracking instructions step-by-step. It'd be great if anyone here could give me a hand in figuring out what to do next!
Right, so I've got the link from my affiliate network, and know where to copy and paste it in Decisive (see image below).

However, from the cookbook, I need to alter the link and add ''&s2={{{bidhash}}}'' to the end. But, as my aff network isn't using cake, does this still apply?
my link is: http://t.mobitrk.com/?a=t&aff_id=XXXX&tags=&o_id=XXXX
The next thing after this is to enter a postback URL into my aff networks page - do I still use the same link - '' http://win.crwd.io/convert/#s2#'', or as my aff network isnt using Cake, do something different?
These are the two things that are holding me up, any help would be massively appreciated!
Thanks
It's up to you to find out what the affiliate link structure should be, same with the postback.
It all comes down to understanding query strings, tokens, and passing information.
You should read http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...-Read-This-Now
It's all the same. For every traffic source. Every network. Every tracker. It's the same basic stuff, just the words change, much like how when you go to use a microwave it's all the same really - just different button labels, some times you need to put in the time then the power then start, or power first, etc. Understand the fundamentals and you will make your life a lot easier.
In short:
Look in your network help docs or ask your AM. You will just need to append &s2= or &subid2= or &affid2= etc. These depend on the system. Find out.
Find out the corresponding tokens to use in the postback URL instead of #s2#. They could be #subid2#, %affid2%, {{affid2}} or even #s2# again. Find out.
