Newbie questions

Hey guys,
Wanted to ask few questions:
1) Does anybody use Google Analytics as tracking system? If so, what are the benefits of it, and the disadvantages?
2) I'm looking for good way to build a marketing list, by phone numbers and mails. Is there a way to do that without creating remarketing list by my campaigns, which take much time?
3) In my running campaigns, my CTR's quite good, but the conversion number still doesn't move. Would you recommend to focus the effort on the "after click" stage, like edit or create LP's, or change the targeting? I guess theres no one answer for it, but I would like to hear different opinions.

Thanks in advance!

Hey ballerboy

I have some advice for your question 3, although this is what i have read and not put into practice, but perhaps look at the banners or the way you get users to click through to the offer. TBH i wouldn't focus so much on the CTR but rather look at the CR, you could get a million Clicks and still not get a conversion if your banner or ad is wrong/misleading. You could slap a really unrealistic promise on your banner add with amazing graphics which don't relate to the offer at all and once the user realises that the great promise on the banner doesn't match what they see after clicking they might not, it could be pictures also on the banner which got them to click then they see nothing related to why they clicked in the first place, LP would increase this i suppose however it still needs to be as relevant to the offer as possible. I'm not saying by any means that your banners are like this but keep in mind don't focus on the CTR focus on the CR:CTR ratio rather than the individual figures themselves to show the success of the banners and overall campaign.

I wish you all the best sir!

Jack

p.s. Please anyone correct me if i'm wrong, i don't want to give out phoney advice
