I've just started building an email lists but I have a problem. I think my emails are going to a spam folder. I've checked it with http://isnotspam.com and it says:
* 3.5 BAYES_99 BODY: Bayes spam probability is 99 to 100%

* 0.0 URIBL_DBL_ABUSE_REDIR Contains an abused redirector URL listed in
* the DBL blocklist
* [URIs: bit.ly]
So I guess using Bitly is not safe! What other URL shortener do you use? Is there anything reliable and spamproof?

You can use a custom domain, using bit.ly. Or setup your own on vps somewhere.
I don't know a ton about email deliverability but I would imagine using any shortener would be a bad idea. Think about it from google or hotmail's perspective - what are the likely reasons a marketer would use a shortener? I would get a good domain and set up your own redirects.
