My first campaign (6)

Hey,

500ms for such simple landers seems like a lot to me but of course it depends on what paremetres you chose in WebPageTest.

With GTMetrix default settings, any lander I have that is as simple as yours gets 150ms so you can definitely make some improvements there. 150ms in a test still means probably like 1-5s in real life situations, based on many other factors.

Your daily budget per placement also seems rather high. I would put it to the amount I would blacklist the placement if it got 0 conversions.

Best of luck!

Manu.

Wow thanks for providing so many details!

Some suggestions:

-Have you tried direct-linking without using landers? For free apps, direct-linking is often all it takes to convert visitors. By direct-linking you can test banners so much more quickly with the lander variable removed. By testing new banners and landers at the same time, when conversions are bad you don't know which one is the problem (it could even be both!). Once you know which banners/angles are working you can always test landers next to see if you can increase conversion rates further.

-You're on the right track with your banner text, but try to think one step further by being more specific, such as "Hide your text messages from your wife!"

-Your banner CTR is low, which may be caused by either or both of a)banners aren't eye-catching enough; b)banner text isn't persuasive enough. Whether the banner text is persuasive enough or not we'll have to see later, but if the banners can't attract eyeballs then even the most persuasive text won't have much chance to work its magic, so let's work on grabbing attention first. I'd suggest using attention-grabbing images. For example an image of an angry wife (LOL!) - be sure to zoom in on her expression! Using animation is also a good way to grab attention - for example, create a second frame and move your CTA to it; this has the added benefit of allowing you to increase the font size of the text in the first frame, making it easier to see. Alternatively, try to animate the angry wife by shifting the positions of her eyebrows/eyes/mouth (this can be a lot of fun!)

I also gave out some tips on increasing banner CTR in this vid:

-Check your placement stats. When I was running this offer in this geo, there was only one big placement that was providing maybe 80-90%+ of the traffic. If that's still the case now, you may want to consider whitelisting just this placement and using it to optimize your banners. That way you can focus on optimizing one variable at a time, without having to worry about monitoring and cutting placements for a while. Since your budget is limited (at least that's the feeling I got from reading your post), doing so might also give you the most bang for your buck, because AFAIK that big placement converts pretty well. You'll need to confirm that this is STILL true today though, because it's been a while since I ran this offer.

Looking forward to seeing you progress!

Hi,

there is typo in your landing-page-3. the word 'linduingi' should be 'lindungi'. As for the word 'ahli keluarga', you could drop the word 'ahli'. it doesn't make sense to say 'ahli keluarga'.

Looking forward to see your next update.

Are you using a CDN? Cloudfront is pretty easy to use if you have S3 and it's pretty good too, especially for now.

Yes, daily budget of around 3x payout is a good starting point.

Manu.
