Hey All,
I've recently set up my tracking using
The campaign link Voluum creates doesn't link to my correct offer, the VPN software i'm using is VPNS.
Anyway i have tried going through a VPN on my mobile phone (android lg g3) and have had no luck in seeing my offer. It keeps redirecting me to a random offer page?
My offer is from New Zealand and called path of war, i'm considering picking a new offer and which is in a more used tier e.g. Germany or France to see if it will make any difference.
If anyone is running this offer or knows of any solutions i haven't considered please let me know!
Thanks,
Jack
just saw this reply here.... better to have continued the other thread but anyway....
the fact that the URL does resolve to a different landing page suggests that the link syntax is correct. that is because you are arriving at a landing page (albeit not the one you were expecting).
If the URL was incorrect in some manner you should just arrive at a 404 page or similar. gut feeling its still a geo issue.
its possible I suppose that the offer itself is not resolving properly on the backend. are clicks tracking at all at your network when you click on your link? you can always reach out to your AM to make sure all is well on their end for that offer... there is a chance also the offer has been taken down but the network wasn't aware so that's why its sending you to a different landing page.
I thought it was more of a tracking question rather than a general question
so i thought i best change it but yeah your right should of just carried on old thread
Yeah i was having worries about the offer not being available anymore, it happened to me before although i was made aware that it had lost budget so it was paused so i think that is a very possible explanation. The annoying thing is i don't think my AM is available over weekends (i mean who has weekends off XD) so i will have to wait till monday to get a reply.
Also my tracking (

, could this mean that the ad network recorded the 3 clicks when the offer was still up then stopped recording more clicks since the offer was taken down?

Quick Update!!
Found the problem! it was with the network and nothing to do with tracking.

Hi Jack. I am also experiencing the same issue. not being able to view my offer page in a diff GEO. Frustrating for new beginners like myself for sure!
Hi datle,
I eventually worked out 2 possible reasons to why this might be happening, the most common one is your vpn is wrong or perhaps try a different one, eventually i got mine to work with a program called "openvpn" also ensure that you do this on the appropriate deveice, desktop or mobile for example. I had to try various vpn (on openvpn) servers to get mine to work.
Secondly ask your AM about whether there is anythibg wrong with the offer because sometimes an offer is no longer available and the ad network isnt aware, so i would recommend asking your am.
Make sure the geo is correct on your vpn but im sure you already know this
. It happened to me ao double check XD.
I wish you good luck, i know its frustrating but as soon as you work it out you will have a little party!
Keep going,
Jack
Perfect Jack.
Yeah my banners were giving me really good click rate and all of a sudden the campaign got rejected because they found the redirect went to some naughty site. haha. So now I am waiting for my AM to msg me back.
Jack, What emulator do u use to view a mobile offer in a different country? I am using Hide my ass for VPN. and mobilephoneemulator.com as an emulator.
Good luck to you as well Jack! Are you going to the Summit in Thailand?
Cheers,
Chris
@datle888 Hey again sorry for so late to replying to this message but yeah i also use VPN but i installed the app on my android phone so i test my offers through that most of the time
might try out mobilephoneemulator.com, is it any good?
