Voluum showing 61 visits and 79 clicks!!! (3)

Hi all


Is possible that i have more clicks, because i have a popup that prevents someone to go out of my landing page? So when the page reloads, Voluum count it again as a click?

How can i prevent double click counting?

Visits are loads of your tracking URL.

Clicks are loads of your CTA link by people who have come through the tracking URL to the lander.

If you have an over 100% CTR it means some users are loading the CTA link many times.

Check your stats. It could be one device that may be a bot or scraper of some sort.

To answer your question, no the page reload is not another click. Once on the landing page, reloading it 100 times has no effect on your stats as Voluum is redirect based. If you're not loading a Voluum link, you're not communicating data to Voluum.

So this means some users are clicking the offer link several times? Does Voluum count when a user clicks the offer links several times? Or Voluum counts only when a ip click a link one time and when the same ip click another time voluum is not counting it the second time? Or voluum always counts when someone click the offer link regardless from the ip?


P.S I have 62 click showing in voluum right now and 24 showing in cake platform. Can this be from the back script?
