How to check whether volume is being run on a specific offer?
I was just reading The Mobile Cookbook: The Main Course (Part 1) and in the "Dicing The Vegetables: Preparing To Launch Your Campaigns" part within the bullet points it says "It’s being run at high volume on at least one network. This shows that someone’s making money from the offer, which implies there are no killer flaws with it." How would i go about checking to see if an offer is being run at high volume, would i ask my affiliate manager about that specific offer, would they know the volume being run for each offer?

Yeah talk to your AMs to see if a lot of people are pushing it. Likewise check how new the offer is either on the affiliate network or if it's an app see how long since it's been made. Spying can also give you a good idea of how popular and prevalent an offer is. You'll never be able to find out exact volume but you'll get a sense if something has been around for a long time and people are still running it that it's a good one.
My fav tool for checking traffic volume is www.similarweb.com it doesn't always have data on new stuff but when it does, the data is pretty awesome.
Just plug in the url of the offer and you'll see stuff. Like stuff that the top affiliate for the offer doesn't want you to see
