New ad manager..... ugh

Anyone else absolutely hate the new version of ads manager? I'm all for facebook improving things, believe me, but basically everything has changed. The look and feel I can get used to and the new filtering options are actually quite useful, but everything has changed position on the page and things I use every day are now buried in dropdown menus. I'm constantly spending 10 or 20 minutes doing things that should take 10 or 20 seconds.

I gave it the old college try and stuck with it for 3 solid days in a row. On day 3 I broke down and reverted to the old version. My productivity was wayyyyyyyyyy down with no sign of improvement in sight.

Am I just being a grumpy old man about this? Does anybody here prefer the new version?

(On the plus side, the new power editor is fricking awesome! As far as I can tell it's practically bug free!!!)

I'm okay with it. You'll get used to it like all new things.

I use excel to create my campaigns and upload it through the power editor... I really only use the ad manager to check out the performance stats

If you have any sanity, you shouldn't be anywhere near the ad manager unless doing reporting.

The Power Editor is, and always has been, a much better way of creating and editing campaigns - and the new updates with instant filtering and convenient slide-in-from-the-side panels is great.

That's pretty much all I use ad manager for. Still takes up a huge amount of time when you're monitoring between 10 and 20 accounts every day. There's a lot of pausing/unpausing/budget adjustments/etc. and by the time I work my way through in the new ad manager it's time to start over lol.

All my campaign creation has been in power editor for years.

Are these accounts all "fragile" and sandboxed from each other? If not, you should really be using a PMD. But I suspect that may be out of the question... in which case I say, well, you should probably just be happy the accounts are alive :P

They are all connected in one business manager and we are 100% white hat. We have a high level rep, bi-weekly conference calls and a quarterly meeting/lunch with fb. The accounts are as close to 100% safe as they can possibly be.

As far as PMDs are concerned, we've been on the phone with every company and none of them fit our needs. If we ever go that route we will get API access and code our own solution from the ground up.
