Hello,
Please feel free to ask any questions you might have about Self-Service for Advertisers.
Key features of our new Self-Service platform:
I've been communicating with a few of your reps via email and Skype about the ss platform, but they all seem to be reluctant to give me any information since I'm not a managed client.
I'd be interested to know your top CPMs for each geo and the respective volume available in each.
Also, I asked your support team about a token for banners and they said this would be rolled out in the coming update. Can you shed some light on this? Thanks.
You should fix the carrier targeting - at this moment it doesn't recognise many of the carriers, therefore it is not possible to target by them.
Showing the bid position would be nice feature as well.
is this a blind network or publishers are shown?
Hi AdCash,
Also, one thing I noticed there is no devices brands or model targeting, may I know if we can do that using self-serve platform? Otherwise it's very difficult for affiliates like myself to optimise it, let alone to scale it at effectively.
Hello,
If you're just getting started with the Adcash self-service platform, here's some handy hints we've put together to get you up and running.
Wishing everyone a healthy profit,
Natalie
Adcash Team
could you offer me your skype account?
Is mobile vibration script prohibited with adcash? The script vibrates two times shortly and I have used it in all my Adcash campaigns and now my campaign gets rejected because of it? I've also seen many landers using adcash as a traffic source and using the same script. Could you give me an insight for this as I've never concurred this problem before with Adcash and I really like the platform thanks!
You should have token for "context" aka categories as well.
Hi,
Regrettably we currently unable to offer support via skype, our team will be glad to respond to you via email contact@adcash.com.
Hi,
Thank you for complimenting our platform.
We have recently updated our policy, so the mobile vibration scripts are prohibited and considered as intrusive.
I hope you will find other possibilities that our platform offers and which are more friendly for the users.
Thanks for the idea!
I've experienced that carrier targeting doesn't work that well either. I have excluded certain carriers, however, I still get traffic from those carriers (e.g. Telefonica de Espana).
I can't seem to block placements. Although they are blacklisted I still get a ton of traffic from them. I already emailed support, but no reply. Please advice.
^^^^ Nloano, i had the same problem... they fixed it in my account. My targets I wanted to block were saying "target does not exist"
Though new problem: Currently any campaign I pause then try to resume later or the next day due to caps I receive no traffic.
Hello,
Over the weekend we did experience some technical infrastructure issues which resulted in intermittent loss of service for some of our self-service advertisers. As soon as we became aware of the issue, our IT team worked quickly to resolve it and get everything back to normal.
We appreciate that service outages can be frustrating, for which we apologize. Going forward we will be putting procedures in place to prevent a reoccurrence of this issue.
I lost around 500$ because ios campaign start do android traffic. Or my blacklist stop working and i got 0% ctr pubs. Etc.
Me: "Mb refund guys?"
Adcash: "No, its tech prob, we fix it"
Its beta testing?
Dont try self adcash now because it money in hole.
Same happened to me, i had a campaign running with $50 daily budget it spent $140 in 1 hour it crashed my server so all my campaigns that i had running wern't working.
When i asked support they said "sorry".
Guys, you should seriously consider fixing the whitelisting feature or remove it alltogether instead of confusing everyone.
Recently I launched a whitelist campaign with android only targeting and what I got was a RON traffic with 99% desktop Windows traffic.
I contacted support as well, but its quiet, so Im pointing this out here as well.
Peace.
Wow, that is seriously disappointing. We were thinking about starting to test their platform :<
I had the same issue. Started a campaign for $50/day targeting 1 category and device. It did not actually use my targeting options at all and spent $700 in less than an hour. I sent an email last week, still waiting for them to "investigate" this issue.
I also had another campaign that targeted 1 device on mobile, it received all devices AND web traffic.
Source isn't useable until the issues are fixed.
I've run on managed in the past and had no issues. Not sure why there are so many problems with the self serve side.
UPDATE: Just heard back from them. They have issued a refund for the large amount of overspending that occured. They also stated that the targeting and capping problems have been resolved. I'll do another test and update here once completed.
Please add the ability to pass the parameter for Categories to track. This would be significantly beneficial to getting a campaign profitable for pruning bad-performing Categories.
Any updates on this?
Anyone else ever seen this with adcash? This is with the self serve.
If its an error with their platform not displaying accurate info. Or you based your campaign spend on their plaform then Its not your fault.
They should not charge you for their error.
More reasons to not run with them. Seems dishonest to me.
Lots of complaints here. So what's the general consensus? They still worth running for mobile?
Update regarding the wallet adjustment:
1. Support overall has a hard time understanding simple requests. All I asked for was to see each day where the wallet was not adjusted correctly from the daily spend and they were never able to provide that. All they could provide was the daily spend, which I tracked myself anyway. I have no idea where and when the error occurred and they cannot say it either, or they don't want to.
2. They avoid any connecting topic that shows their incompetence (wrong fees on the depositing option, only to find out after paying that fees are higher; delayed crediting of PAID invoices), only worthless apologies and cheap reassurance, like a 3rd or 4th mistake in one quarter is not a huge red flag. They totally ignore this is not their first screw up in a short time span.
3. The amount they are claiming is correct, at least in my case (keep daily reports with your ad spend from each TS, helps a lot!). However, having inaccurate reports from them seems like a big dent in their reliability (alongside with other complaints in this thread). If a mistake happened here, there's absolutely no guarantee it won't happen in another spot, where they benefit and there's little trust that they will correct that. I know most businesses are not able to provide an actual guarantee but they have a track record of not screwing up, while AdCash has constantly screwed up. As a customer, that adds risk that they will screw up to my disadvantage and I will not be able to prove it. Customer support didn't address this issue of course, instead they said "sorry" again.
4. AdCash is last on my list of traffic sources to work with. The lack of reliability, the distant tone of support and complete disregard for the other business while trying to emotionally blackmail the customer into feeling bad for them ("Our teams are working tirelessly", "we are deeply sorry", and other such formulations, while working behind a generic customer support email showing you don't even know who you are talking to) makes it a clear one-way street with them. You are a human that can be manipulated, while they are a business that only cares about their bottom line and has 0 idea how to treat its customers.
5. High fees for all convenient deposit methods, and sometimes lying about the actual fees on their page (but they are sorry for that).
Overall, they are either incompetent or have consciously decided that being dishonest about everything is the best way to do business. I am not saying I will never work with them again, but I will carefully assess the higher risk and prepare for the worst.
LE: They are reminiscent of Decisive back in June-July when they always had technical issues, and now that they have pivoted and people are asking for refunds.
Thank you for your feedback. We understand that, on balance, this particular issue could have been handled better; we will learn from this.
Our 2016 roadmap includes an overhaul of our support process, with the addition of live-chat, a better support ticketing system and expanding the support team as a whole.
Finally, all of your points have been fed back to all those involved, and we thank you for taking the time to provide this kind of structured, honest criticism.
Until now is still impossible to target specific devices, when will this option be released??
Thank you for asking! Device targeting is possible in Adcash Self-Service. Just log in, click on "create campaign" and select on which device you like to run your campaign. We have desktop, mobile web and in-app. For each device type you need to create a new campaign. From this week we also have CPC payment possible and in-stream video format.
Hi
I'm talking about Device Brand/Model, the ability to target just Samsung Galaxy, Iphone 6, LG, Huawei, etc.
Previously in this thread you mentioned that option was in development, that was like 6 months ago...
Hello,
Brand and model targeting is in our pipe line. Few things have changed however. We asked feedback from our customers and it wasn't among most asked for features, so it's not among top priority list, but we will get to that. Promise.
