Hey guys, not sure if anyone else has experienced this lately but I use to be able to get lower CPM than the minimum CPM in that GEO using pricing model smart CPM
.
For example, the minimum Smart CPM for austria is 0.200. If I choose Smart CPM I would ofcourse need to put higher than the minimum. So I would put say 0.201 or something. On certain domain, I would see CPM lower than of my bid (for example xxxxx.com shows 0.145 CPM , that is because according to exoclick the system will automatically adjust to price.
However lately I never seen any domain lower than of the minimum. So I don;t know if the price is "automatically adjusting". You could say maybe its competition, I have tried other geo, same thing. I have a feeling they tweaked there system somehow that CPM can not go lower than the minimum of that geo.
Anyone else noticed this? its killing the ROI and making any campaign I run impossible to even break-even.
as of today, we are still able to win at below the country minimum for some countries. so im guessing its competition?
It's either competition or a change in their system.
Bottom line is that both are factors outside your control.
At this point I would just adapt and move on and look for other ways to turn it back to profitable.
These things happen daily in AM and you need to find alternative solutions to stay in the game.
same here. it happened on some of my campaigns. But I personally don't think it's because of competition.
