Help needed with the system
Hey guys!
Since i'm new in this "affiliate world", and the tracking system as well, I have some problems set the data and connect it with the networks I use.
I wonder if there's anyone who can help me and answer some basic questions on Skype/Mail?
Thanks in Advance!

There is a TON of material on STM on this. Have you read through them?

Also - whenever asking questions like this, be more specific... What tracking system are you using, and which network do you have trouble connecting it with?

Hey ballerboy, you have a much higher chance of getting someone helping you if you post the exact details here.

Got you, sorry about the misunderstanding.
Basically i am looking for someone who is using Thrive's tracker for a while for some basic questions like:
- Setup conversion tracking between the affiliate network & the tracker (I did it step by step following their tutorials & guides from STM), it seems to work for some campaigns and for others not.
- Clicks tracking also seems not to be accurate since the amounts of clicks on my traffic sources are very different from the amount shown on Thrive.
- Setup conversion tracking between Thrive and my traffic sources (ad networks e.g ExoClick).
I have some more question but those are the main issues i'm having right now.
Again, thanks in advance guys!

You really need to provide more details, and more importantly
learn HOW to ask for help. There are plenty of people here who can and want to help, but you need to help them help you.
Learning how to ask for help properly is an important skill that will take you far, not only in affiliate marketing, but also in life.
Here, for example, is what a good way to ask for help looks like

How to Ask a Question When You Want Technical Help
http://www.techsupportalert.com/cont...nical-help.htm
Before you go to a forum or help desk with a computer problem, it is essential that you be prepared properly. How you ask your question or present your problem is key to obtaining help. Be sure to have all the facts about your problem lined up beforehand. You will simply waste your time (and the tech’s) if you are vague about what your problem is. In this tip, I'll give some suggestions for getting the best help.
Ten steps to getting your question answered on a tech forum
- Before you even go to a forum, think through what your problem is. Write down how you are going to describe it. Think about it from the other side - what would you need to know if a stranger came to you and asked a computer question? Write down any error codes that appear on your screen. Gather all the system information that seems to bear on the problem (see how at this link). Sometimes it even happens that by thinking through the problem, you come up with the answer yourself.
- Place your question or problem in a forum that is relevant to its subject. That may seem obvious but anyone who has experience with forums knows that a lot of questions show up in the wrong place.
- Select a title that briefly and accurately describes your problem. A title like “Help!” or “Computer won’t work” will often get ignored. Almost any problem can be titled with a few key words that will raise interest in somebody who is familiar with the subject. A corollary to this is to avoid using all caps or a lot of exclamation points. Something like “HELP!!!” turns many people off.
- In the post, briefly describe the problem in a paragraph. Leave out unnecessary details. Save everybody time by listing any solutions that you have tried but didn't work.
- Next, describe relevant system details. For example, it is essential to designate your operating system and type of computer and any components that might be involved in your problem. List any error code that has been displayed. Be prepared to provide more details if asked
- Tell what you were doing when you encountered the problem. If it is a reproducible problem, list the steps or computer operations that cause the problem.
- List any recent software you have installed or hardware changes you have made. If you have updated any drivers recently, also list that.
- If requested, be prepared to list all the software updates that have been made recently.
- Be courteous and thank whoever is helping you whether you get a solution or not. Somebody is giving you their time and expertise for free. You may want to come back to the forum and it pays to be friendly.
- If a suggested solution works, be sure to return to the forum and report your success. It is the least you can do to return something for the help you have been given. It will make you welcome in the forum the next time you go there for help.
And there you have it - follow these rules and you'll have a better chance at getting your problem solved.

When you edit a traffic source, you can add an "External ID" and also a traffic source post-back:
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0b74486t65
The example I gave above is for the traffic source Decisive.
The External ID Parameter I used is "extid", but you can use any string you want.
The Placeholder is the token provided by the traffic source. That token is used by the traffic source to pass their click ID.
Then Decisive's post-back format is like this:
http://win.crwd.io/convert/[PASS TRACKER TOKEN HERE]
Thrive's token to pass the External ID back to the traffic source is {externalid} and therefore I append it where the traffic source tells me to, and I end up with:
http://win.crwd.io/convert/{externalid}
The same logic applies to any other traffic source that passes a sub ID and allows for post-back.

Indeed, when asking about tracking you need to provide some details in order to get accurate answers.
If you're starting to use a tracking software and you dont want to get your hands dirty with the technicals associated with a sofware, you might want to consider trackingdesk as it's integrated with literally all top affiliate networks and technologies (cake, hasoffers, linktrust) and over 40 ad networks/traffic sources. This will allow you to start quickly and easily without having to struggle with configuring traffic sources's tokens and affiliate networks pixels/postback.
PM me if you need some details.
