I am amazed by FB

Hi,

Everyone should see this thing that I'm amazed. I restarted a long campaign with a budget of $ 400 per day. (8/25 - 8/30)

After 5 days I looked in my account and I had almost 7000 clicks.

In Histats counter I have about 1200 clicks per total.

I can not explain this, I checked the domain, host, everything is perfect, also checked the targeted country with a proxy but I did not see my ad.

I attached two screen shots.

I'm amazed!

Have you got google analytics running? Check your bounce rate, maybe people are clicking and closing before your Histats counts them?

Not possible, the discrepancy is to big. I think is something from FB. Maybe they know that I'm cloaking and they shave me.

Lol they wouldnt shave you cause your cloaking. There is always a discrepancy with FB. What are you using to track the users?

jroes57 I checked if my ad is showed on a FB profile on the targeted country and I saw my ad only a few times. If I am getting impressions in my advertising account where is my ad on a FB user profile.

I am using histats.com to track the users for more than 8k click per day on all my campaigns.

facebooks tracking has always been patchy at best. on large spends there is a MASSIVE discrepancy between clicks paid for and recieved, and the good news is I have had it swing both ways. Country targeting is probably the culprit, with tons of clicks coming from outside your target country. Check the IP's hitting your affiliate tracking site and you will see them from dozens of countires instead of just the one you targeted. Maybe your tracking doesn't show all the international IP's.

Note - you may want to keep a bit closer watch on your campaigns, especially when new or restarting old campaigns.

yeah your tracker is only showing you US hits or whatever since your cloaking.. u actually got that many hits that facebook sent you its just that they may have been redirected to your fake page.

I stopped the campaign, and created a new one. I think they had an internal error because in my fb account I had 100k impressions and when I checked to see if my ad is shown on a profile account I saw it for 4-5 times. The rest of campaigns are ok.

My guess is that they are having software issues. They are a big company and their systems are still being developed daily. I've seen all kinds of wierd behavior like this with them. I think you are on the right tracking dumping the campaign and starting fresh.
