Recently JoshTodd of InsideAffiliate.net mentioned that DirectCPV has emailed out their subscribers 7 niches that have lots of competition with little amounts of traffic. So i decided to check it out, the niches supposedly are:
1. Shopping
2. Gaming
3. Sports
4. Social Networking
5. Entertainment
6. Dating
7. Adult
I find it a bit weird, since those are all pretty big niches.. Anyways when you login to your DirectCPV account they give you specific URLs to target within all those niches which is quite helpful, at the bare minimum it's helpful to get some creative ideas going based around domains you may have no thought of, so i saved all the URLs and am posting them here. DirectCPV says these URL's have little traffic competition, so hopefully their being honest. Here you guys go:
After looking the domains over more carefully, it looks more like domains with big traffic rather than less competition.

Yeah , looks like they are emailing these to get advertisers back on their platform.
I haven't been using them lately since their quality has been dropping ( heard they have stopped new installs , so basically the same people are seeing same ads over and over ).
They also have some super high bids ( platform bug ?? ) .
I would move on other platforms for the moment.
Their bids are higher than Lead Impact by a long way which has kind of put me off using them for the time being.
Having said that i just set three new campaigns live last night on Lead Impact US traffic. Spent all weekend carefully selecting high converting offers/landing pages and added very targeted and deeply researched domains, some with little to no competition. So i was excited and confident that i would see a result or at least some indicators that would allow me to optimise. But nothing - not a single conversion for a shit ton of views. Astounded by this result.
This has made me suspicious of the traffic quality as it simply doesn't add up. I am fairly new to ppv traffic and have had moderate success with it on UK traffic so i thought i would dive into US but it has been a big fail.
Any comments welcome 
I can assure you LeadImpact has some pretty good quality US traffic. I've been using them for ages.
Probably you should try new keywords/lp combinations until you find a winner.
